Frequently asked questions-Art prints and original paintings

Find answers to common questions about my wildlife art prints and original paintings.

Each piece is inspired by the quiet beauty of nature and the emotions animals can carry—whether it’s a robin symbolising remembrance, a bee representing resilience, or a hedgehog bringing comfort.

Here you’ll find everything you need to know about ordering, sizes, framing options, delivery, and the meaning behind the artwork—helping you choose a piece that feels truly personal.

If you have a question that isn’t answered here, feel free to get in touch—we’re always happy to help.

•What does a robin symbolise in your artwork?

My grandad used to talk about robins. What they meant. Why they came close. I was young, and I half-listened — the way you do when you think there'll be more time to understand.

There wasn't.

But since he passed, I've seen a robin almost every day. Not always the same spot, not always for long — but there. And on the harder days, the days that catch you off guard, it's there too.

I don't know how to explain that. I'm not sure I need to.

That's why I paint robins. Not as decoration. As something closer to a conversation — with the people we didn't get to say enough to, and the ones who somehow still find a way back.

If you've found your way here, you probably already know what I mean.

Are your prints suitable as memorial or sympathy gifts?

Yes — and honestly, that's at the heart of why most of them exist.

A lot of people find their way here because they've lost someone. They're looking for something that says what words can't quite manage. Something that lasts, that can sit on a wall and hold a little of that person's memory without feeling heavy or formal.

The robin prints in particular have become a quiet favourite for this. There's something about the symbolism — the idea that a robin's visit is never quite coincidence — that resonates with people who are grieving, or who want to give a gift that acknowledges a loss without making it the only thing in the room.

Each print is made with care. If you're ordering as a gift and need it by a specific date, just get in touch and I'll do what I can.
